ARTISTES
moon dickinson
Moon Dickinson is from Down Under - New Zealand, to be precise. Growing up in this country ensures a sense of freedom whilst still keeping your feet firmly on the ground. Raised in a family where music held an important place, any social get-together worthy of this name was not complete without singing (usually in the company of various relatives.)
After travelling across the world, tasting the culture in a multitude of countries, Moon set down roots in Paris in the 90s. Busking gave way to singing on stage, where she performed over 300 concerts and released two albums with “Rainbow Warriors”.
Eclectic taste in music and collaboration with artists covering a vast array of styles reinforced her belief that there should be no boundaries in music. After advice from the director of MidiLive recording studio, Moon and Linton (the Hairy Philosopher) jammed together which convinced the latter that Moon would be the ideal singer for the “Eternally Yours” folk album. Mutual respect, some very Down Under shared musical references and a firm-rooted conviction that music is not a question of glittering appearance but rather of sincerity and emotion, paved the way to a rich and harmonious journey..
